DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nIn a rare changeup\, just for February\, we are moving this showcase to Sunday at 7pm. \nAfter climbing the corporate ladder in his family’s South Florida car business\, Dave Williamson decided he liked making his customers smile\, but LOVED making them laugh. Since then\, he has excelled in almost every domestic Comedy Festival\, making the finals or “Best of The Fest” in the World Series of Comedy\, Boston Comedy Festival\, San Francisco Comedy Competition\, Big Sky Comedy Festival\, the SLO Comedy Festival\, and several others. Shortly after being named “Best Comedian in Miami” by the Miami New Times\, Dave packed up his family in a 25 foot travel trailer. They traveled with him while he performed all over North America\, eventually settling in Los Angeles after 18 months of touring. This trip was documented in a series of shorts by Nickelodeon.\nAli Kareem is a comedian based in Denver\, known for his sharp wit and engaging storytelling. Born in Baghdad\, Ali’s remarkable journey began as an interpreter for the U.S. Military in Iraq\, a role that eventually led to his U.S. citizenship. Today\, Ali continues to captivate audiences throughout Colorado\, delivering laughter with every performance.\nRebeca Trejo is a Denver-based standup comedian with a style once described by Josh Blue as “slam poetry with punchlines.” Born in Venezuela\, raised in Puerto Rico\, Rebeca migrated to the mainland in 2014 to escape both communism and colonialism\, so naturally she fled to…Louisiana. Now living in Denver\, Rebeca performs stand-up comedy in both English and Spanish. DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nKick off the new year with big laughs at Dairy Comedy in the Boe – January\, our monthly standup series in the cozy\, cinematic Boedecker Theater. \nThis month’s lineup brings TV credits\, festival favorites\, and rising local stars together on one stage: \nAl Jackson is an American television host\, comedian\, and actor. He co-hosts the nationally broadcast talk show Daily Blast Live\, which is in its fourth season. Al regularly serves as a contributor with weekly segments on the Bob & Tom Radio Show\, which boasts 140+ affiliates nationally. Al’s hour-long comedy special Baby Steps was picked up by the global distributor Comedy Dynamics and his half hour comedy special is on Comedy Central. He has appeared on several Comedy Central shows\, including This is Not Happening\, The Meltdown\, and @midnight. He was also featured on John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Special and Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground. \nAndrea Marie Vahl is an international speaker and comedian. She has performed at venues such as Comedy Works\, The Denver Improv\, Comedy Festivals in Boston\, Chicago\, World Series of Comedy and produces her own standup show called Moms Unhinged. \nGeorge Delgado is a comic that got his start in comedy back in Texas and currently calls Denver home. Drawing inspiration from his unconventional home life\, intrusive thoughts\, and cultural identity crisis\, George crafts sharp material that resonates with diverse audiences. \nEmma Perkins is a Boulder Comedy Fest alumna and was a semifinalist for Comedy Works New Faces competition 2023. Making his network television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson\, John followed that up with a second performance on the Ferguson show. He’s also appeared on Bryon Allen’s nationally syndicated ComedyTV. John’s album\, “Jokes I Can Only Tell Here\,” was released via the Laugh Button in the spring of 2022 where it hit over 1 million views on their Youtube channel. \nKatie Bowman is an a comedic performance and visual artist based out of Denver. Bowman strives to connect with the audience with bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs. She just released her first comedy album\, Neurodivergent Nightmare that hit number one on Itunes and Amazon the week it came out. \nBrad Galli: Comedian. Food Runner. Former Sock Salesman. \nLinus Leas is a Cambodian American comic who started comedy in Asia doing shows for expats and locals alike. He was a featured performer for the comedy group “Shenzhen Now”. His positive outlook shines through his jokes about the world and his experiences in it as a former emo\, hockey playing\, first generation\, Indian millennial. \nSamira Beason is a fast-rising comedian based in Denver\, known for her sharp humor and engaging storytelling. She won Best of Fest at the 2024 Colorado Springs Comedy Fest. \nAlso making you laugh will be Merit Kahn\, Ryan Bonnell\, and Evan Johnson. And our host is Zoe Rogers.
