This special comedy benefit brings together three nationally recognized comedians to help raise funds for relief and recovery efforts supporting the Town of Nederland. Event proceeds will go directly toward Nederland’s ongoing recovery efforts. \nExpect a night filled with sharp wit\, heartfelt moments\, and the unifying power of laughter. \nFeaturing: \nVinnie Montez\nBorn and raised in Boulder\, Vinnie Montez is a national touring headliner and Comedy Works regular known for his high energy\, deeply relatable stand up that draws from over 20 years in law enforcement and his Mexican American roots. His comedy blends real life stories\, cultural identity\, and quick wit into a style that’s equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. Vinnie’s work has been featured on Dry Bar Comedy (Armed & Hilarious and Funny Moments)\, Amazon Prime Video (Vinnie-isms: The Story of the Cop Comedian)\, and the Heroes Off Duty Comedy Tour\, and he has performed for U.S. troops overseas through the Gary Sinise Foundation. \nNancy Norton\nNancy Norton\, RN CHP\, delivers uplifting\, interactive\, and hilarious performances infused with insight from her years as both a comedian and a registered nurse. John’s album\, “Jokes I Can Only Tell Here\,” was released via the Laugh Button in the spring of 2022 where it hit over 1 million views on their Youtube channel. \nKatie Bowman is an a comedic performance and visual artist based out of Denver. Bowman strives to connect with the audience with bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs. She just released her first comedy album\, Neurodivergent Nightmare that hit number one on Itunes and Amazon the week it came out. \nBrad Galli: Comedian. Food Runner. Former Sock Salesman. \nLinus Leas is a Cambodian American comic who started comedy in Asia doing shows for expats and locals alike. He was a featured performer for the comedy group “Shenzhen Now”. Al’s hour-long comedy special Baby Steps was picked up by the global distributor Comedy Dynamics and his half hour comedy special is on Comedy Central. He has appeared on several Comedy Central shows\, including This is Not Happening\, The Meltdown\, and @midnight. He was also featured on John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Special and Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground. \nAndrea Marie Vahl is an international speaker and comedian. She has performed at venues such as Comedy Works\, The Denver Improv\, Comedy Festivals in Boston\, Chicago\, World Series of Comedy and produces her own standup show called Moms Unhinged. \nGeorge Delgado is a comic that got his start in comedy back in Texas and currently calls Denver home. Since then\, he has excelled in almost every domestic Comedy Festival\, making the finals or “Best of The Fest” in the World Series of Comedy\, Boston Comedy Festival\, San Francisco Comedy Competition\, Big Sky Comedy Festival\, the SLO Comedy Festival\, and several others. Shortly after being named “Best Comedian in Miami” by the Miami New Times\, Dave packed up his family in a 25 foot travel trailer. They traveled with him while he performed all over North America\, eventually settling in Los Angeles after 18 months of touring. This trip was documented in a series of shorts by Nickelodeon.\nAli Kareem is a comedian based in Denver\, known for his sharp wit and engaging storytelling. Born in Baghdad\, Ali’s remarkable journey began as an interpreter for the U.S. Military in Iraq\, a role that eventually led to his U.S. citizenship. Today\, Ali continues to captivate audiences throughout Colorado\, delivering laughter with every performance.\nRebeca Trejo is a Denver-based standup comedian with a style once described by Josh Blue as “slam poetry with punchlines.” Born in Venezuela\, raised in Puerto Rico\, Rebeca migrated to the mainland in 2014 to escape both communism and colonialism\, so naturally she fled to…Louisiana. Now living in Denver\, Rebeca performs stand-up comedy in both English and Spanish.
