DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nTENETS is Raw Groove’s movement manifesto\, a full-bodied expression of the principles that guide our creative practice. \nDrawing from the fusion of Black diasporic dance forms such as Afrobeats\, Hip Hop\, House\, and beyond\, this work explores how movement holds memory. Each rhythm\, each gesture\, is part of a lineage: passed down\, reshaped\, and reimagined. These are our tenets. The foundations we return to. The structures we spring from. \nThis dance theatre production reflects our process of learning\, honoring\, and evolving. We study the roots and experiment by intertwining tradition with new patterns that excite and inspire. The result is something alive\, layered\, and future leaning. \nTENETS blends choreography with live music\, spoken word\, and comedy to create a rhythmically rich experience. It is a celebration of movement as philosophy\, memory\, and imagination.
