DESCRIPTION:The Fireside Ink Draft Exchange has moved to a new location! Check www.firesideinkwriters.org for more information. \nOur once-a-month draft exchange is for writers of all genres who are interested in taking their drafts to the next level and joining a community of writers in the spirit of support and accountability. Less rigorous than a workshop\, these exchanges offer the opportunity to share a short piece of writing in real time and receive immediate feedback\, as well as guidance on the multitude of paths to publication. Whether you have specific questions or just need a little encouragement\, join us for this relaxed gathering facilitated by seasoned writers\, Brenda Kahn and/or Loie Rawding. First Thursday of every month\, 5:00-7:00pm. Suggested donation: $20. Limit of 8 Registrants Per Session.

Her previous books are This is Salvaged\, which was longlisted for The Story Prize and the Mark Twain American Voice in Literature Award\, and The Immortal King Rao\, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and was shortlisted for the National Book Critics Circle’s John Leonard Prize and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. She is also a journalist\, currently working as a contributing writer for Businessweek\, and an editor\, most recently at The New York Times Magazine.
