DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nFiddler on the Roof has captured the imagination of cultures around the world for decades with its universal theme of tradition confronting modernity. It has been a shared dream for Sarah Nowak (director) and Rabbi Marc Soloway (Tevye) to produce this show\, and this feels like the right moment. \nAs we see a dramatic rise in antisemitism and a world filled with dehumanization\, bigotry and violence\, Anatevka is both a specific\, particular time and space in Jewish history and also any place where people have been persecuted and driven out of their lands. The particular and the universal are captured in this story\, which we hope to tell in a way that connects us to the past\, present and future. \nThis musical is presented by Glowing Goose Productions in partnership with Congregation Bonai Shalom\, Congregation Nevei Kodesh\, and the Boulder JCC.

DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nBlending comedy\, vaudeville\, clowning\, and meta-theatrical play\, BURNING BLUEBEARD reimagines the 1903 Chicago Iroquois Theatre fire from the perspective of the performers. The piece is both a reckoning and a love letter—an exploration of why we gather\, what we risk in live performance\, and how theater holds us together in moments of joy and catastrophe. \nOf the original Chicago production\, Newcity Stage wrote: \nBURNING BLUEBEARD represents the cumulative potential of theater as an art form: a poetic\, terrifying\, gut-buster tour de force that tells the audience exactly what this show is going to be—a deconstructed retelling of the 1903 Iroquois Theatre Fire from the eyes of the artists who worked on “Mr. Bluebeard\,” the production that sent the theater up in flames—even while building the sense that this time fate may be averted\, we might see the second act\, and the victims of that fire could be saved. \nDirected by Artistic Director Amanda Berg Wilson\, The Catamounts bring their signature immersive approach to the work\, transforming the Carsen Theater into a shared environment where audience and performers exist together inside the story. The result is a theatrical experience that is playful\, unsettling\, and deeply communal—inviting us to imagine what it means to care for one another in the dark. \nSunday performances on February 1\, 14\, and 21 will be followed by a community gathering.
